Yesterday I became unemployed again, leaving my newfound friends at the Business Professionals of America for my next adventure. I did manage to finish their Web site (mostly) and I did make serious headway on the Democracy for Ohio site too.
In about a half-hour, John Stover will be here with my car. Today, for the first time in my 33 years, I become a full-fledged 100% bona fide car owner. It will be mine. Unbelievable.
Then I'll be placing the eight boxes that are my apartment into the trunk, turn in my keys, and become homeless again as I drive the 400 miles to Washington D.C. and meet my new employers who will be giving me my training this weekend. And, hopefully, my actual assignment.
I'm thrilled beyond comprehension. I haven't felt this much fear/excitement since the last time I was in love.
The car's name will be Bantha I. Tip of the pen to Jesse.
I'll be out of touch for a little while. Don't know when I'll be able to get back to e-mail. Thanks to everyone for the support. Thanks to everyone for the support.
