Geekwriting

From 2005 to 2009, I was the copywriter for the X-treme Geek retail catalog while it was owned by E-filliate, Inc. While a whole lot of my copy never saw print (editors: do we love 'em or what?), I managed to preserve some of my favorites, completely unadulterated, for display here. Most of these items are no longer for sale, so some of the pictuers will not be available. I apologize for any mysterious confusion.

BODY- [250 1119]
The party has only just begun when you show up with your Mace Windu Force FX purple-bladed lightsaber. Modeled after the prop Samuel L. Jackson used in Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, , it features digitally recorded sound effects that are triggered by motion or contact. Switch it on and a bright purple glow shoots up from the base to the tip and you'll hear the unforgettable "snap-hiss" of activation! Then, when the blade moves or contacts an object, it buzzes and crackles just like the "real" thing. Do you really think the oppression of the Sith will never return? Activate your Force FX lightsaber and find out!
