Geekwriting

From 2005 to 2009, I was the copywriter for the X-treme Geek retail catalog while it was owned by E-filliate, Inc. While a whole lot of my copy never saw print (editors: do we love 'em or what?), I managed to preserve some of my favorites, completely unadulterated, for display here. Most of these items are no longer for sale, so some of the pictuers will not be available. I apologize for any mysterious confusion.

HEADING-

Heading Copy:
Grow Creepy & Wicked Plants in a Gothic Graveyard Garden

Alt Heading 1:
They're Alive! Creep Yourself Out with Mysterious Gothic Plants

Alt Heading 2:
Revel in Dark Herbology with the Graveyard Gothic Garden

BODY-
They're not undead and they're not triffids, but the plants in the Gothic Garden are all a mite creepy. Dracaena exudes a blood red sap, the black coleus fears sunlight and the moonflower is associated with witches' brews. Aloe is used for embalming and the mimosa pudica shrinks and moves when touched or chilled. Throw in a few tombstone stakes, stickers, skulls, plastic spiders and blood red rock, and you've got a veritable terrarium of terror!
